How long will it take to become an ATI Champion?
It takes between 1-3 months of training to become a Champion.
How much of a time commitment is being an ATI Champion throughout the year?
Commitment varies by faculty size, student roster, number of champions per school, and other factors. Hours per month may vary from 2-10 hours.
I’m already familiar with ATI programs and products, will I be learning material I already know?
No, you’ll start by taking an ATI Champion Assessment survey so we can tailor the sessions to your specific needs and knowledge level.
What are the expectations of an ATI Champion?
ATI Champions work with our implementation team through training and yearly reviews giving them the tools to effectively implement ATI products within their program.
Will there be compensation for this position?
There is not monetary compensation, however there are career-enhancement opportunities and introduction into a nurse education community of passionate nurse educators. Some ATI Champions have used this role to earn various credits and/or contact hours. Talk to your dean or director to determine what might work best for your program.
